Simply take a deep breath, relax and walk down memory lane for a while and you will get answers to the questions I have just asked.

…We have always believed that children are a heritage of the Lord just as scripture rightly states.
And so, when you came into our lives, we just didn’t see you as our son or daughter, we saw you as one of God’s best gifts to us. We made a firm resolve to love, support and mold you into a man/woman after God's own heart.
Doing that required that we raise you so well and equip you with everything you will ever need so you don’t stray from the paths that’s safe.
Now, you’re all grown up and we are filled with so much joy that you have kept the faith and you are right here before your maker making a solemn promise to serve him all the days of your life…
Can you write something similar? I am confident you can!
The fifth thing you can do is…
Just Answer These Eight(8) Questions And Your Ideas Will Flow In No Time!
Sit down for a moment with a note pad and paper in hand and ask yourself these questions:
What happened prior to the day?
How was my confirmation day like?
Do I still have any or all of those letters I got from my sponsor or mentor, parents (mom and dad), grandparents, friends, and well-wishers?
What were the stumbling blocks every step of the way?
How did I overcome all those trials?
How did my participation in that sacrament guide my whole life from that moment on?
Can you share some ups and down moments in your walk of faith?
What did you do back when you felt as though ''God was on vacation?''
Next, put down your answers and back them up with stories into well-developed paragraphs. Now, this is what you have to do afterwards.
Go over your work paragraph by paragraph and see ideas you feel you don’t want to include and get rid of them and leave others intact.
Keep on doing that till you are completely happy with how your ideas follow in a clear and consistent manner.
By telling your journey in the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ using personal anecdotes, it will give your son or daughter a sense of hope and purpose when he or she goes through life and also make them believe that Jesus will be there for him or her no matter how hard the storms of life blow.

Years later, when your grandfather died, I sat in a chapel wondering if the gash in my heart would ever heal. I was so sad I couldn't pray. I sat, for an hour every day, for many months, before the Blessed Sacrament.
I mean, I just sat there. I didn't ask anything. I didn't do anything.
Finally, one day, a mini-miracle: I felt my way through the grief.

“Remember, then, that you received a spiritual seal, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of knowledge and reverence, the spirit of holy fear.Keep safe what you received. God the Father sealed you, Christ the Lord strengthened you and sent the Spirit into your hearts as the pledge of what is to come.”— St. Ambrose
“I wish not merely to be called Christian, but also to be Christian.”— St. Ignatius of Antioch
“It is better to be a child of God than king of the whole world.”— St. Aloysius Gonzaga
“But it is God who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us, by putting his seal on us and giving us his Spirit in our hearts as a first installment.” — St. Paul

Sit down a moment with a note pad and paper in hand and ask yourself these questions.
How was my confirmation day like?
How was the preparation like?
Do I still have any of those letters you got from your sponsor or mentor, parents (mom and dad), friends, and well-wishers?
Did I experience any set-back?
How did you overcome all those challenges?
How did your participation in that sacrament guide your whole life from that moment on?
Next, put down your answers and back them up with stories in well-developed paragraphs.
Now, this is what you have to do afterwards. Go over your work paragraph by paragraph and see ideas you want to get rid of and those you don’t want to touch.
Keep on doing that till you are completely happy with how you have developed your points.
By writing about your own journey in the faith using personal anecdotes, it will give the communicant a sense of hope and purpose when he or she goes through life and he or she can make it through no matter what life throws at him or her.
