Christian Eulogy for Mom or Dad

Christian Eulogy for Mom Or Dad

This is How Sons And Daughters Can Easily and Quickly Write Beautiful And Inspirational Eulogies For Their Moms And Dads…and how you can do same even if you are not good with words or simply don’t know where to start from

Eulogy 2

Is This The Best Gift Ever?

Billy Graham, one of the renowned preachers to have walked this earth made a very profound statement that the greatest legacy one can pass on to one's children and grandchildren is not money or other material things accumulated in one's life, but rather a legacy of character and faith.

That’s very true because all the other gifts your parents gave you will fade sooner rather than later.  But, the precious gift of faith is something that will forever enrich your life more than you can ever imagine.

If you had a mom or dad who impacted your life with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, then you are very blessed.

I know your life will never be the same without your mom or dad and I would like to express my deepest condolences on the passing of your godly and loving mom or dad.

But one thing is for sure. Those who truly die in the Lord Jesus Christ will have eternal rest in heaven.

By the way, if you need someone to talk in this distressing and painful moment, please send me a message and I will be very happy to send you very comforting words and passages from the scriptures. God bless you and be with you.

Here’s How to Begin on a High Note

I know for sure you are looking for the good words, ideas and phrases to help you write a beautiful tribute for your mom or dad.

Granted, not everyone is a good or a natural writer and it even gets worse when you have to put your thoughts and emotions together to craft a Christian eulogy for your dad or mom.

By the grace of God, I have been writing speeches for people all over the world and I am happy to share with you a few tips, ideas and examples to help you write a touching tribute that will praise, honor and bless your departed mom or dad, even if you hate writing or are not too sure how to begin.

Get Rid Of These Scaremongers So You Can Give A Speech Your Family And Friends Will Never Ever Forget

But first, please let’s consider this issue carefully as it prevents most speakers from pulling off a remarkable show.

You see, prior to any speaking performance, your mind will relay memories of incidents where you failed to live up to expectations and it will make you wonder if you really have what it takes to say something memorable.

In spite of your past experiences, you can make it because you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

Being a Christian, you have to let go off the past and soak yourself in prayer because it’s God who gives us the strength to carry on.

So, don’t worry about how you feel at the moment or what the nudging voices keep telling you.

Keep believing in the power of the Holy Ghost and God will imbue you with the strength to say what’s on your heart.

How To Get The Right Words And Ideas For Your Eulogy

To get the best ideas, you first have to put yourself in the mood for the clever expressions of your thoughts.

To give you an idea, you have to visit your favorite video search engine or platform.  Youtube.com seems to be the most popular so let’s use that.

This is what I want you to do right away. Go for a sheet of paper or notepad and a pen.

Then, put in your favorite search term into the search box. You may use terms like Christian eulogy for dad or mom.

Wait for a couple of clips to pop up and then watch a few. As you do, take notes of ideas and phrases you feel you can add to your own eulogy.

Please, here’s a video to inspire you to come up with neat ideas.

This Goldmine Has The Best And Ease-To-Use Ideas…Have You Ever Considered That?

Did you know there was an easy way to write a beautiful speech for your beloved mom or dad in an incredibly short amount of time?

Most people don’t know this but Christian eulogies for mom or dad examples are a goldmine because they contain so many ideas and phrases you can model your speech after.

Yet, most folks don’t know how to make the most out of it. So, we are going to look at a very good example and then we will review it afterward.

P.S This is for a dad but you can modify it for your mom.

Here we go:

''Some of you present today knew my Dad, Sam Joe, as family, dear friend and/or associate. Some have never met Dad and you are here in support of those who have had the privilege and honor of knowing him.

As a family, we had the honor, privilege, and blessing of knowing him as a husband, father, Dad, Pop, grandfather, YehYeh, GoongGoong, and great-grandfather, Bok-Goong. Together, we mourn.

Perhaps in the quiet moments, you’ve read Dad’s biography, written by his granddaughter Denise, who collected more information than could fit onto a single page.

You have heard three eulogies adding to the glimpses of this remarkably loving, giving, devoted, dedicated, thoughtful, God-loving man, whose love was expressed in manifold kind ways to countless souls.

Paul says in Romans 2:4 Do you recognize that it is God’s kindness that leads to repentance?

God was kind toward Dad.

God showed his kindness toward Dad as He allowed this 11-year-old to leave behind every member of his immediate family in China to enter the United States after having been detained on Angel Island.

God showed his kindness toward Dad as he worked as a servant boy for two women in Minden, Nevada.

Eulogy 1

God showed his kindness toward Dad as he attended school in Sacramento, erroneously enrolled at a parochial school. He asked his friends if their teachers wore the same clothes every day.

He was then moved to a public school.

God showed his kindness toward Dad when, as a first lieutenant in the Army Air Force in WWII, and after one battle, he was informed that none of his comrades returned.

God showed his kindness toward Dad when a young teenage woman named Alice was selling tickets to a dance, and he would respond with his proposal to purchase two if she would accompany him. (Dad was a quick-thinker!)

God showed his kindness toward Dad as he married Alice in 1943, and in subsequent years became a father to the four of us, Bob, Stanton, Tommy and myself, and in time became father-in-love to his son and daughters-in-love, grandfather to eleven and great-grandfather to three.

God showed his kindness toward Dad that day as he was pulling weeds, Dad heard a clear voice telling him to move. He did, just seconds before the block wall, for no apparent reason, toppled onto the very spot from which he had just moved.

Dad responded to God’s kindnesses toward him in not exactly the way one would expect.

When our children were young, my parents would often drive to our home and stay a day or two. One evening, by what I thought was God’s prompting; I shared the gospel with Dad.

Dad was always helping lost drivers or pedestrians find their way. I shared with him the way toward having a relationship with God through Christ.

He patiently and intently listened and then proceeded to tell me not to do this with anyone ever again. I shared my discouragement and disappointment with Mom who was in the next room.

I climbed the steps to my bedroom, sensing the anger of my dad and fully expecting him and Mom to leave in the middle of the might in his disgust.

Early the next morning, before they would be heading home, there was a knock on my bedroom door. Dad came in, sat on my bed, and said these words, “I want to become what you want me to become.”

In 1984, Mom and Dad were baptized in the Jordan River. He read the Bible and I remember him asking me a question about Psalm 23:1. He couldn’t understand that if “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want,” who would not want him? I explained that this good and perfect shepherd provides all that is needed for all of life. We are not in want of anything.

One of the clearest ways God demonstrated his provision was in the gift of my Mom. He loved her and always cared for her. Even as they lived together in assisted care, they were known as the couple that was always holding hands.

Mom held Dad’s hand in the hospital during her two-hour visit on Friday afternoon, May 3, 2013. This was his second day in the hospital, and he had remained unresponsive since his admission the day before.

She sat in her wheelchair as close as she could get to him. Her first words were, “You are the best looking Air Force officer, even at 95.” She thanked him for all the meals, good times, and the time he spent with her and the family. She then prayed for him.

I held Dad’s hand a lot that day and into the evening. Frequently I told him of my love for him and that he need not worry, I would care for Mom.

I also told him that if there was anything in my life that brought him disappointment or sorrow, that I was sorry for that, but that I had every confidence that he was proud of me. At 8 PM I needed to leave for home.

I spoke into Dad’s ear, assuring him that I was there and holding his hand but that when I couldn't be there, God would hold his hand. The imagery God uses these words to describe his commitment to his people: “I will take your hand and keep you” Isaiah 42:6.

I trust God did just that, as six hours later, Dad entered into the presence of the Good Shepherd.

My dad, in how he lived his life, made it easier to call God my Father.

I miss Dad deeply. The other day driving to campus, I cried. Asking God where all these tears were coming from, He poignantly said, “These tears have been stored in a deep well dug by the remarkable and intimate love you shared with your dad.” Perhaps the tears you shed come from that kind of well.

We mourn, but differently. Our mourning is enveloped in the certain hope of eternal life. That eternal life for Dad began when he responded to the myriad kindnesses of God found in Jesus Christ, Who is the good shepherd, the One Who lays down his life for the sheep.

The Shepherd knows his sheep and whose sheep know him (John 10:11, 14).

Whenever Dad and I would depart, I’d always say to him, “I love you, Dad.” In response, he’d always say, “I love you too. Jesus loves all of us. Dad’s right, He loves us all.''

I really enjoyed this beautiful piece. I hope you did.

By the way, let’s break it down so you can use my comments to write something touching about your godly mom or dad.

First, let’s see a few parts of the introduction.

''Some of you present today knew my Dad, Sam Joe, as family, dear friend and/or associate. Some have never met Dad and you are here in support of those who have had the privilege and honor of knowing him.

As a family, we had the honor, privilege, and blessing of knowing him as husband…''

As you’re pretty much aware, there’s this saying that there’s no second chance to make a first impression and that’s so true.

You see, even though the mourners won’t judge you like other kinds of speeches, you still have to live up to expectation because your family has placed so much in you and you shouldn’t let them down.

How To Write A Beautiful Opening

To come up with a riveting opener, you have to do things differently.

While it’s common for most eulogies to begin with phrases like…'' we are gathered here to mourn the death of….'', you can start with a bang by employing one or more of the following ideas and tips.

First, you can begin by sharing your personal sentiments about the day.

Second, you can begin with a poem.

Third, you can start off with the lyrics of a song.

Fourth, you can start off with a simple question.

Finally, you can get their attention by quoting verses from the scripture.

I know this is a very painful time for you, so please let me ease your pain by showing you how can begin with a bible verse.

I’d like to use portions of Hebrews 11: 1...Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for.

Below is the example I wrote out of that inspiring verse.

''Thank you for coming to support us as we give praise and honor to God.

Scripture tells us that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen for by it the elders obtained a good report.

We are here today to celebrate a man who obtained a good report because he believed in the things not seen and he had been looking forward to seeing ever since he became an old man….''

Don’t you think this will engage the audience? It’s not as hard as you think…you only have to decide which of the above ideas you want to go for.

Enough said for that….let’s move on to the body of the speech.

Below are excerpts

''Dad was always helping lost drivers or pedestrians find their way. I shared with him the way toward having a relationship with God through Christ…

In 1984, Mom and Dad were baptized in the Jordan River. He read the Bible and I remember him asking me a question about Psalm 23

One of the clearest ways God demonstrated his provision was in the gift of my Mom…

Mom held Dad’s hand in the hospital during her two-hour visit on Friday afternoon…''

This Is What Everyone Wants To Hear

The body is the heart of your eulogy for your dad or mom, and you should put a great deal of time and effort into coming up with the right stories.

Before you jot down the right stuff, you first have to decide which tone or style you want to use. You can decide if you want to use:

  • Storytelling style
  • Funny or hilarious style
  • Sentimental style
  • Inspirational style

It’s possible to combine two or more styles and most speakers fuse together inspirational, sentimental and storytelling mode of delivery.

Now, let’s look at how to get ideas for the body of your eulogy for a Christian mom or dad.

Eulogy

Asking yourself these questions can help you out.

  • Who was your mom or dad?

  • How was his or her faith in Jesus Christ?

  • How did your mom or dad impact your life and your siblings? You can share how they raise you and the timeless values that impacted your life

  • How did your mom or dad impact others they came into contact with?

  • How their marriages inspire yours(that’s if you’re married)

  • What funny or poignant memories do you want to share that will inspire the mourners?

  • How has their legacy of faith enriched your life?

  • Why will you miss your mom or dad?

Write answers to the questions above and use them to create an outline for your speech.

Afterward, you can craft a rough draft by modeling your Christian eulogy for your mom or dad after the above example.

Later, you can go back to edit it till you are completely happy with it.

Can You Really Do This?

Finally, let’s consider how to close your eulogy speech on a very memorable note.  As always, let’s refresh our memories with extracts of the concluding lines…

''My dad, in how he lived his life, made it easier to call God my Father.

I miss Dad deeply. The other day driving to campus, I cried. Asking God where all these tears were coming from.

He poignantly said, “These tears have been stored in a deep well dug by the remarkable and intimate love you shared with your dad.” Perhaps the tears you shed come from that kind of well. I love you too. Jesus loves all of us. Dad’s right, He loves us all.’’

It’s very simple to end on a high note. Yet, most sons and dad take this part of the delivery for granted.

Just as there are established organizational patterns for the content of the introduction and the body, there are also conclusion patterns and these include:

  • Thanking the audience for their rich display of love, support, and kindness which is fairly common
  • Thanking God for his loving-kindness, mercy, and faithfulness over the period…

Ok…let me illustrate with this example.

Scripture tells in Psalm 30:5  that weeping endures for a night but joy comes in the morning.

Yesterday was our night…

Today our night is turning into day and tomorrow our sun will be up because we are looking forward to that glorious morning when we all will be hugging and kissing our loved ones and my dad and others who have gone ahead of us…

God bless you all for the outpouring of love. Keep praying for us and sending those messages because we really need them.

  • Asking questions, making comparisons, or otherwise reminding the audience of your mom or dad’s beautiful characteristics

P.S  Read this only if you want to give the best ever eulogy for your father. Did you know you really owe it to your dad to come up with a touching eulogy speech that will praise, bless and honor his memory…

Most sons and daughters who give beautiful and heartfelt eulogies you hear at funeral use this powerful tool…have you ever considered it?

Dear Loving  Son Or Daughter,

Let’s face it…Putting together your thoughts and emotions into a very beautiful tribute without letting the tears flow isn’t an easy thing and I experienced that recently when I wrote a eulogy for someone who was very dear to my heart.

I really feel sorry for you at this very painful time and I think you shouldn’t struggle to come up with a very beautiful tribute your family, brothers, and sisters, and loved ones will never, ever forget.

Granted, writing a unique, memorable, and inspiring eulogy for your dad is not an easy thing at all at this painful time even if you’re a very gifted writer.

I want to take his very heavy burden off your shoulder by helping you come up with a funny, inspiring, and memorable eulogy that truly captures your dad’s life.

Just imagine how great it would feel when you give your speech with such ease and grace and your family comes to hug and compliment you on a great job done.

Christian Eulogy for Husband or Wife

Christian Eulogy For Husband Or Wife

How Any Godly Husband Or Wife Can Easily and Quickly Write A Beautiful And Memorable Eulogy That Will Praise, Honor and Bless Their Loving Spouse….

Eulogy

This is guaranteed to help you deliver something great even if you are not good with words or overwhelmed with grief

Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 19:14 that wealth is handed down from parents but a good spouse comes from the Lord.

If you were blessed to have married a godly wife or husband, then I am sure you lived life to the fullest.

It really hurts when someone you really love suddenly joins the Lord.

I know your live will never be the same without your loving spouse but one thing is certain. God gives us strength and hope so that we can comfort those in pain and afflictions.

On this note, I would like to express my condolences on the passing of your husband or wife. I am sorry for the loss of your precious and please know that you’re constantly in my thoughts and prayers.

If you feel lonely and need someone to encourage you, don’t hesitate to send me a personal message and I will do all I can by the grace of God to send you comforting words from Scriptures.

By the way, scripture tells us that in Ecclesiastics 6: 3 that a man might have a hundred children and live to be very old.

But if he finds no satisfaction in life and doesn't even get a decent burial, it would have been better for him to be born dead.

What the means is you have to see off your loved one with a Christian eulogy that will praise, bless and honor your husband and wife.

Granted, it’s not so easy to sit put your thoughts down into a very coherent eulogy speech when you are really hurting.

It even gets worse if you are not a natural writer or you simply don’t know how to string your words together.

Don’t worry because I have your back. By the grace of God, I have been helping people with their speeches and I am happy to share with you ideas, tips and examples you need to know so you can easily and quickly write a very beautiful eulogy speech for your departed husband or wife.

This Can Make All The Difference…So, Don’t Ignore It

But first, please let’s consider this as it can impede your chances of coming up with a very touching funeral speech.

In scripture (Proverbs 23:7), we are told that a man is the product of his thoughts.

What that means is that your mindset will spur you on to success or otherwise at the funeral or memorial service.

You see, prior to any speaking engagement, our minds have a funny way of reminding us of events where we goofed when we were asked to speak before an audience and that might make you feel nervous.

Please, you don’t have to listen to those voices as the enemy will always deploy that to get you distracted.

Remember the spirit of God dwells in you and he has given you everything (including the confidence) you need to face the crowd and say something remarkable about your loving spouse.

Whenever you feel anxious and not so sure if you will make it, please bring back your mind to God’s word in (2 Timothy 1:7): You didn’t receive the spirit of fear. But of power, of love and of a sound mind.

How To Get The Right Words For Your Speech

That being said, let’s look at how to get the good words, ideas, and phrases to help you write a very memorable eulogy for your godly spouse.

To come up with the right words, you have to first put yourself in the mood for the clever expression of your thoughts and emotions.

You can do that by surfing your favorite video-sharing platforms for video clips of how other surviving spouses did that.

So, this is what I want you to do now. Please go grab your pen, note pad or paper, and head over to your favorite platform (mine is youtube.com) and input keywords like Christian eulogy for husband, Christian memorial speech for wife, touching eulogy for husband or wife.

Wait a minute for a couple of them to pop up and watch a few of them. Don’t forget to put down ideas and tips you feel you can include in your own tribute.

By the way, I found these videos to stimulate your creative thinking.

If you’re a husband, please see this

If you’re a wife, please watch this(see below) instead...

Here’s A Very Beautiful Example

Now, here’s the transcript of the first video. Please look it over carefully.

When you’re through with it, we will see how to make the most of it so you can put together your script beautifully.

Here you go:

"I’m thankful for all the people that showed up today. It’s a pretty tough time, not just for me but for all of you as well. I’m mindful of that.

"I’m thankful for my family. My children have been unbelievably resilient this past week. All of my relatives who’ve flown and drove.

"Many friends, some people flew in for the day just to spend a few hours with me and didn’t even get that accomplished. But it all is well received by my family and especially me.

"The Bible says in Psalms 133:1, “Behold how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity.” And I think that’s what we’ve done, and that’s what Ingrid would have wanted.

"Psalms 73:1 says, “God is good.”

"And I John 4:16 says, “God is love.”

"During times like this, it’s easy to forget that because what we’ve gone through is pretty tough and it’s hard and we want an answer.

We don’t always get that answer when we want it, but we can’t lose sight of the fact that God loves us and that’s what my wife and that’s what I, however badly, exhibit on a daily basis. But God does love us.

"He loved me so much that he sent his son to die for my sins, and I for one know I’m not the man that you guys see every day. And only God could cover that.

"He loved me so much that he gave me a wife that loved every part of me, and she fit me perfectly, and I know different players that I’ve had over the years probably got tired of me talking about my wife. I used to think to myself, “Who else was I going to talk about?” So, that never bothered me.

"Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”

"All of this will work out. As hard as this is for me and my family and for you, this will work out. I know this because I’ve seen this in my life.

"See, back in 1990, at the University of Notre Dame, I had a doctor look me in the face and say, “You’re gonna die if you keep playing basketball.”

And I had testing done. Test after test, shipping me all over the place trying to find a way for me to play, and it didn’t work out.

"And I kept that from Ingrid. She knew I was having some tests done, but she didn’t know the severity of the situation.

"So, my career was over at the age of 18, and we had a press conference, and I left the press conference by myself and I went to her dorm room and I told her what happened. And the very next word out of her mouth, words out of her mouth after we probably cried a little bit, she said, “Honey, Jesus can heal your heart.”

"And I’m evidence that God can work it out.

"I don’t care what you’re going through. This is hard for my family, but this will work out. And my wife would punch me if I were to sit up here and whine about what’s going on.

That doesn’t take away the pain. But it will work out because God causes all things to work out. You just can’t quit. You can’t give in.

"See, the Bible says Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy. And America teaches us to just numb that and it’s not true. But it is true. All you gotta do is look around you. Get outside of these walls and you know it’s true.

"This will work out.

(Story continued below...)

"It doesn’t mean it’s not hard. It doesn’t mean it’s not painful. It doesn’t mean we’re don’t have tough times and we’re gonna have tough times. But what we need is the Lord, and that’s what my wife tried to exhibit every single day.

"Now, I’m gonna close with this, and I think it’s the most important thing that we need to understand. Everybody’s praying for me and my family, which is right.

But let us not forget that there were two people in this situation. And that family needs prayer as well.

"And we have no ill will toward that family.

"In my house, we have a sign that says, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” We cannot serve the Lord if we don’t have a heart of forgiveness.

"That family didn’t wake up wanting to hurt my wife. Life is hard. It is very hard. And that was tough, but we hold no ill will toward the Donaldson family, and we as a group, brothers united in unity, should be praying for that family because they grieve as well. So let’s not lose sight of what's important.

"God will work this out. My wife is in heaven. God loves us. God is love. And when we walk away from this place today, let’s celebrate because my wife is where we all need to be. And I’m envious of that.

"But I’ve got five crumb-snatchers that I need to deal with.

"I love you guys for taking time out of your day to celebrate my wife.

"We didn’t lose her. When you lose something, you can’t find it. I know exactly where my wife is.

"I’ll miss holding her hand. I’ll miss talking with my wife.

"Sam (Presti) and Coach (Billy) Donovan probably couldn’t figure out why I always wanted to get out of the office. Me and Mo Cheeks.

Mo probably wanted to go do something else, but we always wanted to get out of the office. I just enjoyed being with my wife. I enjoyed being with my family, and most of the time, we didn’t do anything. We’d just be at the house, sittin’ around, doin’ nothin’. I’m gonna miss that.

"Let’s not lose sight of what’s important. God is important. What Christ did on the cross is important.

"Let’s not lose sight of that family that also lost someone that they love.

"I love you guys. I hope I get a chance to hug and shake a hand and give a kiss on the cheek. But let’s keep what’s important at the forefront.

"Thank you."

Eulogy 1

P.S: You can modify the above example if you want to use it for your wife. Thank you

Now, let’s take it by bit and since how the various parts of this inspiring eulogy speech for a very good wife was written.

How To Make Your Script Very Memorable From The Get-Go

First, let’s look at the introduction. The opening lines of every tribute have the power to capture attention.

The example started with this:

‘’ I’m thankful for all the people that showed up today. It’s a pretty tough time, not just for me but for all of you as well. I’m mindful of that…‘’

Though it isn’t as captivating as it should, it showed the speakers respect for those who’ve come from far and near to celebrate the life of his dear wife.

Well, there are so many other ways of starting your opening remarks on a brilliant note and the ideas below can help you write the introduction of your speech so it sounds impactful.

Here are a couple of them plus examples to help you out.

First, you can thank everyone as the speaker did.

Second, you can begin with a question or a profound statement.

This is to give you an idea of how to employ idea#2

So, this is an example for a wife or husband who died under very mysterious circumstances or passed on suddenly.

Let’s face it. The Christian walk is not a piece of cake.

In scriptures, we are told that faith can do all things. It can move mountains, it’s a defense when we are deep deep down the valley of death, and it can bring back the death to life because we understand that through faith, God created the visible and invisible worlds.

In Luke 17:6, Jesus reassures us that if we have faith like a mustard seed, we can tell the mountains to move.

Each of us has our mountains of pain and agony…it could be a sickness you’re battling wife or a personal issue in your own life you’ve been trusting God to see you through.

But, sometimes, in spite of our trusting obedience, God’s perfect will prevails and we can’t help but accept his will because our ways are not his ways….

I have been trusting the Lord to heal my wife but I still can’t understand why she died…Maybe when I meet Jesus someday, he will tell me why..

Hope you saw how I did that.

Third, you can start with scripture about love, faith, gratitude, etc.

Fourth, you can start with a song your spouse loved to sing. If it’s a very familiar tune, the audience will love every bit of it.

Fifth, you can start by talking about how you feel about the loss and how you’ve been affected as a family.

Here’s how this writer did it:

"During times like this, it’s easy to forget that (God still loves us) because what we’ve gone through is pretty tough and it’s hard and we want an answer.

Now, let me ask you…which of the five points do you feel you can use for your own eulogy?

Now, let’s quickly move on to the body of the eulogy.

Here are excerpts

See, back in 1990, at the University of Notre Dame, I had a doctor look me in the face and say, “You’re gonna die if you keep playing basketball.”

The body of every speech is usually a recollection of the time you’ve spent together and the impact your wife or husband has had on your life.

To come up with good ideas, you should first decide if you want to give:

  • A touching or sentimental speech
  • A funny speech
  • A story based speech
  • A eulogy based on your wife’s personal attributes or virtues

After you have decided on the style to go for, you should craft an outline for your speech. You can simply do that by creating a simple sketch you can fill out later.

I really don’t want you to struggle at this painful moment, so please put down answers next to the following questions:

  • How you met and fell in love
  • How life before and after you got married
  • You can share memories of family events(go see past photo albums and letters you sent each other)
  • You can share how your significant other impacted your life
  • Why you will miss him or her

If you want to touch on his or her personality, then you can build your storyline around these too:

  • His or her personal attributes as wife
  • His or her role as the mom or dad of your children

If you had grandchildren, then you can share how your grandkids felt whenever your partner was around.

Well, let me illustrate using the ideas I have just presented.

This is it.

‘’It’s said that the best gifts come from the heart and I know for sure it’s so true because my wife gave me a reason to believe that the greatest gift of life is love.

You see, before I met her 30 years ago, I had one heartbreak after another and I wasn’t deserving of any woman’s love. But, she proved me wrong when I felt I was ready to settle down with the love of my life….

Do you see where this is going? I am confident you can do the same.

Let’s see how you can write the conclusion or ending of your faith-based eulogy for your Christian husband or wife.

Eulogy 2

How To Make Sure Your Eulogy Will Be Remembered For Years To Come

As always, let’s see excerpts (conclusion) of this inspiring speech so we can take it from there

"…Let’s not lose sight of what’s important. God is important. What Christ did on the cross is important.

"Let’s not lose sight of that family that also lost someone that they love.

"I love you guys. I hope I get a chance to hug and shake a hand and give a kiss on the cheek. But let’s keep what’s important at the forefront…"

Just as you have to start with a killer introduction, you have to end on a high note because your last words will stay on the minds of the guests for a very long time.

Now, the tips below will help you create a memorable ending for your narrative.

These include:

  • Reminding the audience of your wife’s or husband’s praise-worthy characteristics and encouraging people to emulate these attributes.

  • Telling your own children, family and everyone why you will miss him or her

  • Thanking the grievers for their love, well-wishes, and support.

  • You can share your dreams and wishes for the future and this is very common in Christian eulogies.
  • You can simply thank God for the gift he brought into your life…

For example, this is how to use the last idea to come up with something short and sweet.

Even though I am totally devastated and heartbroken that the precious gift of my life is no more, I’ll always miss the golden moments we have spent together and I know that my life would never be the same without Amanda, but I thank God for blessing me with such a rare gem! God bless you so much

Eulogy for Daughter from Mom or Dad

Eulogy for daughter: How To Easily and Quickly Write a Very Touching Eulogy for Your Daughter even if you are overwhelmed with grief and you simply can’t put your thoughts together to form a beautiful speech!

Let’s face it. Children are very special gifts in the life of every mom or dad. But daughters are like flowers because a love a daughter’s love last forever.

Eulogy for daughter what to say

I know for sure your daughter was so beautiful, caring and giving and I can’t imagine how your life will be like without her in it.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of a very special daughter who meant so much to you.

Words are simply not enough to express how sorry I am for your loss. I truly believe in the power of prayer and I want you to know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

If you feel lonely and need someone to talk to, please send me a message and I will do all I can to send you some healing words to comfort and inspire you in this very difficult time.

By the way, I know you want to see your daughter off with a very beautiful eulogy or tribute.

The truth is, not everyone is good with words. It even gets worse when you have to put your thoughts and emotions together to form a touching eulogy or memorial speech for your daughter.

Here’s How To Do It

Don’t worry if you find yourself struggling how to string your thoughts together because I have been helping moms and dads with their speeches and I will show you how and how to get the good words, and how to use them to write a beautiful eulogy that will praise, bless and honor your precious daughter.

Eulogy 3

Take Note Of This Before You Write Or Else You’ll Fail

But first, let’s look at this as it affects most people prior to delivering their eulogies.

Do you remember what happened to you before you spoke before a small audience sometime in the past? That probably made you nervous and you felt as though you couldn’t make it.

You see, anytime you have to give a speech, there’s this little voice in your mind that will remind you of your past speaking failures.

But you shouldn’t listen to that nagging voice. Instead, believe you can make a difference this time by continually holding fast beautiful memories of your daughter.

As you keep at it, you will feel this new surge of energy running through your body, spirit, and mind, and you will confidently give a funeral speech for your daughter no matter how you feel about your capabilities.

How To Get The Right Words For Your Daughter’s Eulogy Speech

Now, let’s consider how to get the good words and then I will illustrate with relevant examples of how you can make the most of them to make your writing a breeze.

To get the right words, phrases, and ideas, you first have to put yourself in the mood for the clever expression of ideas.

This simply means going to your favorite sharing platform and watching how some parents gave their messages at their daughter’s funeral or memorial service.

To give you an idea, please go grab a pen and paper and come with me as we watch a few videos here and there. My favorite platform is youtube.com, so let’s use that for our study.

To come up with some good videos, you can insert any of these keywords into the search box to come up with the best video results: a eulogy for daughter, eulogy for daughter by dad or mom, etc.

Then, wait for a couple of video clips to pop up and write down stories and ideas you feel you can incorporate into your own message.

By the way, I found this video for you to help you come up with the right stuff.

Now, let’s look at one great resource I highly recommend you use even if you are a terrible writer or you simply don’t know how to begin.

Why? Because they contain so many ideas, examples, and secrets you can simply model your speech after.

But, here’s the thing. Most parents simply copy examples they find without personalizing and it takes the shine off an otherwise memorable tribute.

I want to make things very easy for you, so this is what I want us to do now.

We are going to read through an example and then, we will look at what went into so that you can use our findings to write a very beautiful piece for your beloved daughter.

Here’s A Very Beautiful Example You Can Easily Use

First, below’s a condensed version of the complete eulogy.

My beautiful Kelsey Grace….I hope as you are looking down from Heaven that you are FINALLY able to see how much you were adored, admired, and so so loved.

The amount of people that have been affected by your death is a true testament to the impact you had on everyone you met in your 23 short years of life.

Never ever did I think that God would decide to call you home so soon. It has been many long, hard, agonizing battles for the last few years and you fought like a warrior every step of the way. Addiction, however, won the war.

Eulogy for daughter from mom

To the person who doesn’t understand addiction, she is just another statistic who chose to make a bad decision. A very uneducated statement indeed but nonetheless that is what they will say along with some other very hurtful statements.

I don’t care though because, for the people who do understand, this was our baby, our youngest, our child, our daughter and as a mother; my everything.

She was a mother, a sister, an auntie, a niece, a granddaughter, a friend, a cousin, a human being and an addict. With her award-winning smile, sparkling diamond eyes, witty dry humor, loyalty to a fault and calming ways it is easy to see why anyone who met Kelsey instantly fell in love.

She was an old soul for such a young woman and a complete throwback which made you love her even more. I had joked with her last week saying I bet if I gave you a pair of legwarmers you’d throw them on and wear them with pride.

She said you know it, mom! She never cared what anyone else thought and always stuck up for the underdog. The beauty she exuberated would take your breath away.

It wasn’t just beauty on the outside because her soul was just as beautiful on the inside.

Her reality was that with those sparkling eyes, she never saw what the rest of us saw. She looked in her own distorted mirror and this is what her reflection displayed; and these are her own words: ‘’I am someone who is determined, insecure, emotional, neurotic, shameful, cunning, angry and honest.

I am everything but simple. I hate being alone yet I am addicted to the feeling of sorrow and depression.

I am a person who is too insecure to be loved and terrified to be broken. I am hard on the outside but an emotional train wreck deep within the heart.” Her addiction told her she wasn’t worthy or deserving. She turned to drugs to make her feel normal like everyone else.

Heroin told her I can make you feel accepted, I can make you feel alright, I can make you feel worthy, I can make you feel normal, I can make you feel loved, I can make you feel nothing and make you feel like everything will be ok.

What it didn’t tell her was how it would devastate her family and tear it apart, how it would take her job and leave her penniless, how it would steal her son from her arms, how it would take her home, how it would take her sparkle, how it would make her smile, how it would take her humor and how it would take and take and take until it took her life.

Kelsey had spent September of 2014 up until her passing on April 2, in multiple rehab facilities trying to fight this demon.

For 2 years she had not lived at home and literally transferred from program to program in order to get her life and son back.

She worked hard and fought the good fight eventually regaining custody of her beautiful baby boy Camden and finding that sobriety was a much better way to live, but the demon was still there.

Kelsey had just 10 months shy of sobriety and was due to move home in 2 months but God had other plans. He saw her constant struggle and decided to finally let her find peace.

He knew Camden was loved and safe and it was time to have Kelsey feel the same.

Her smile, her laugh, her humor, her artistry, and those eyes will be deeply, deeply missed by everyone.

The outpouring of love and support that our family has received is beyond overwhelming. When Kelsey’s obituary was written my intention for it was to tell the truth in the hopes that maybe it could help even just one other person.

Little did I know how it would implode. There were complete strangers that came to her wake because they were in our shoes and just wanted to reach out.

                                      Eulogy for daughter

The parents that have lost a child to this epidemic have a bond like no other. I have read countless stories on the web page about how honesty has helped so many more than just that one person I was hoping for. I was also told last night her obituary has been shared over 50,000 times because it has gone viral.

Channel 5 News called me and they would like to do a story about Kelsey in order to spread more awareness.

My plan worked and my baby girl may not be here physically but she is working miracles from Heaven and as her mother, I couldn’t be more proud. I love you my Kelsey girl. Shine down on Camden and all of us and keep working those miracles from Heaven. I love you forever and always…….

I will conclude with this:

MISS ME, BUT LET ME GO

When I come to the end of the road,

And the sun has set for me,

I want no rites in a gloom-filled room,

Why cry for a soul set free.

Miss me a little but not too long,

And not with your head bowed low,

Remember the love,

That we once shared,

Miss me, but let me go.

For this is a journey

That we must all take,

And each must go alone,

It’s all a part of the Master’s plan

A step on the road to home.

Eulogy 2

Please note: Though this is for a young daughter, you can modify it if you are honoring the life of a much older daughter.

How To Start Your Eulogy

Let’s now dissect this piece bit by bit.

First, here’s a brief recap of the introductory lines.

My beautiful Kelsey Grace….I hope as you are looking down from Heaven that you are FINALLY able to see how much you were adored, admired, and so so loved.

The amount of people that have been affected by your death is a true testament to the impact you had on everyone you met in your 23 short years of life.

It goes without saying that there’s no second chance to make a first impression and that’s so true for eulogies as well.

If you read the opening remarks of our example, you will find that it sucks you in as it’s very touching.

Granted, not many people can do that. To engage the attention of the audience at a time when they will be distracted, you need to come up with something that tugs at the heart.

There are so many ways of doing and I am happy to share a few with you.

First, you can begin with a quote or poem about daughters.

Ok, …let me use this quote:

"One of the greatest gifts I’ve ever gotten is my daughter" –Ace Frehley  to show you how we can start a eulogy for your daughter

Here you go:

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s true we are gathered here to mourn the loss of my daughter but let’s be grateful for the lives of our children and every single child in God’s beautiful world because they make our world go around.

Throughout my life, I have gotten so many beautiful gifts but my daughter is the greatest gift of my life…and many of you have told me that.

I believe she is not because she was my only daughter but she was a very special human being who brought light and love into our hearts and everywhere she went to…

Did you see how I did that?

Second, you can relate an anecdote or a story. For example, if there is a very beautiful story about your daughter’s birth or upbringing you can weave it into the theme of your eulogy.

Third, you can share your personal sentiment about your daughter as we saw above. An example is… My beautiful Kelsey Grace….I hope as you are looking down from Heaven…

Fourth, you can begin with a question or a statement of fact.

To illustrate, you can begin like…

‘’ How would you feel if someone who brought so much hope and joy and light suddenly dies and you have no one to turn to?

Just think about it. Keep thinking about it. Anita the shining light of my life is no more and I can only imagine what the future holds for me, my wife, and my two kids.

Finally, if the deceased loved to sing a particular song, you can begin with that and then connect it with the rest of your speech.

Enough said for that. Let’s look at how to write the body of your eulogy.

First, let’s look at parts of the example (body) we are reviewing.

Heroin told her I can make you feel accepted, I can make you feel alright, I can make you feel worthy, I can make you feel normal, I can make you feel loved, I can make you feel nothing and make you feel like everything will be ok...

This Is What Your Family and Friends And Loved Ones Want You To Say

The body is usually a narration of the life of your daughter and you should fill in the blanks with good stories your wife, other children, and your entire family can relate to.

You may decide to give a chronological account of your daughter’s life or write about her personal virtues.

You should also decide on the tone of your speech.

Ask yourself if you want to want to say something poetic, funny, and sentimental or a combination of two or more styles.

Then, you have to create an outline for the free flow of your story.

Wondering how to do that? Just provide answers to the following questions

  1. How did you feel when she was born?
  2. How did she make a difference in your life when she was growing up?
  3. What were her personal virtues? (loving, giving, caring, etc.)
  4. How did those positive attitudes affect her life, yours, and her siblings and others?

If she was an older daughter, you can add these

  1. How did she become a blessing to her own children and husband?

  1. What killed her? You’ll notice that the example we are looking at revealed the exact cause of her daughter’s death.

You can do the same if you really want to share a problem she had with the hope that it will inspire other parents not to give up on their kids.

Having supplied answers to those queries, write a very rough draft of your eulogy without worrying about how it looks because you can always go back to edit.

If her funeral is around the corner, you can shelve it for a few hours before revising it.

Eulogy 1

Here’s The Best Way to End on a Memorable Note

Finally, let’s look at parts of the conclusion before commenting on it.

I will conclude with this:

MISS ME, BUT LET ME GO

When I come to the end of the road,

And the sun has set for me,

I want no rites in a gloom-filled room…

Sometimes, once you get started writing, the eulogy will take on a life of its own and it will emerge from your mind as the perfect ending.

That’s not always the case. If you stuck with closing your eulogy, then these ideas can help you out so you end on a high note.

  1. 1. Using emotional cues that move the audience to reach with sorrow, pity, indignation, and even laughter.

  1. You can end by saying why you will miss your daughter

  1. You can end by sharing the lines from a poem.

  1. Encourage the people to emulate your daughter’s beautiful attributes

  1. Thanking God for seeing you through this difficult time and thanking the mourners for coming to support you.

P.S Most grieving moms and dads who give very beautiful, inspiring and heartfelt eulogies at funeral use this incredible tool...Do you want to use it too...it will help you out so you can have your peace of mind...

Eulogy For Mother(Mom) From Son Or Daughter

Eulogy For Mother or Mom: How You How Can Easily and Quickly Write A Touching Eulogy For Your Mother That Will Praise, Bless and Honor Her Life

Eulogy

It’s every son or daughter’s dream to have a very special mom in his or her life.

This heart-melting quote reminds me of the love your mom had for you.

''A Mother’s love is something that no one can explain, It is made of deep devotion
and of sacrifice and pain…It is endless and unselfish  and enduring what may come

Eulogy for mother(mom)

For nothing can destroy it or take that love away . . . It is patient and forgiving
when all others are forsaking, And it never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking . . .

It believes beyond believing when the world around condemns, And it glows with all the beauty of the rarest, brightest gems . . .

It is far beyond defining, it defies all explanation, And it still remains a secret like the mysteries of creation . . .

A many splendored miracle men cannot understand and another wondrous evidence of God’s tender guiding hand'' - Helen Steiner Rice

I know for sure that losing a mom is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know and let me express my condolences about the loss of your precious mom.

I want you to know that I am with you in thought and wish you comfort as you remember a great mom who was very loving, caring and supportive.

Please feel free to get in touch if you feel lonely and need someone to talk to. I am deeply sorry.

As you know, putting together your exact thoughts and emotions into very beautiful words is not an easy thing at all.

It even gets harder when you have to put down very touching words that will praise, bless and honor the memory of your mom.

Well, if you are wondering how to get the right words and how to use those words to easily and quickly write a very meaningful eulogy for your mom, then don’t worry because I will share with you everything I know.

Take Note Of This Or You Make It

Before we set the ball rolling, I want you to get this right as it usually impedes the success of most son or daughters hell-bent on preparing memorable funeral speeches for their moms.

Have you ever wondered why most people feel nervous prior to making speeches? It’s not due to fear or lack of proper preparation. Rather memories of past speaking encounters are responsible for that.

You see, whenever you are asked to speak before an audience, your mind will bring back memories of your speaking failures and you will feel like you don’t have what it takes to perform well.

Guess what? You don’t have to listen to those little nudging voices in your head.

Here’s what you should do instead. Sit for a moment and envisage who your mom was, what she stood for, and the role she’s played in your life.

Keep this at the back of your mind and focus on those beautiful qualities of your mom and an unstoppable surge of energy will come to you even if you feel speaking in public is not your thing.

How To Get The Right Words For Your Mom’s Eulogy

That being said, let’s consider how to get the right words for your mom’s eulogy.

To get the words, you first have to put yourself in the right frame of mind for the clever expression of your ideas. You can do this by watching short video clips to put you in the mood.

Being a speechwriter, this is what I often tell people to do and it will work for your good too.

Just go to your favorite video sharing platform and put it into the search boxes your preferred search term. My personal favorite is youtube.com (any other channel is fine).

So, when you get on that platform, please grab a pen and paper and use any of these keywords: a eulogy for mom, eulogy for mom from son or daughter, etc.

I really want your writing to be a breeze so I found this great video for you…Please take a few minutes to enjoy it.

Please see this (below) if you are a son

If you're a daughter, please see this instead

That takes me to point # 2:

This Example Holds The Key To Writing A Great Eulogy

Wouldn’t it be great if you found a super cool resource that will help you come up with your funeral speech in a relatively short amount of time?

Most people don’t really consider this but eulogy samples have been proven time and again to help anyone to effortless put together something funny and heartfelt. But most sons and daughters don’t how to tap into this goldmine.

Don’t worry if you don’t because I am going to share with you a short example and then I will explain how to get the most of it.

Here you go:

Thank you all -- for coming to commemorate my mother’s life.

Before I go on to celebrate my mother and what she stood for I must share with you the reality of what life was like for my mother and the family since she was first diagnosed with cancer in October.

Of course, nobody suffered more than my mother, but Dad you’re definitely second. We all shared my mother’s pain. It was like we were all on trial.

At any one point, as a family, we were in denial, we were angry, or we were depressed. And there was conflict. We disagreed with the doctor’s findings. We didn’t always agree with each other on a course of action. It was a confusing time.

In the end, I felt we all put up a good fight. We did what we could do.

I have to ask myself what my mother would want for us right now.

I think she’d want us to heal ourselves and move on. She’d want us to talk with our creator and deal with her death in our own way, but also put her death behind us and live a life that she would be proud of.

I would like to thank all of you for coming here today to help us, as a family, to heal, and to celebrate my mother’s life.

My mother was born to Albanie and Velma Bourque in a small French community called Scoudouc, just outside of Moncton, in 1937. Just to give you an example of what life was like back then, my mother didn’t live in a house with electricity until she was 15. Imagine that, if you will.

Imagine doing homework using a gas lantern. Despite this hardship, she did well in school.

In the early 50s, my grandfather had a tough choice to make. The government of New Brunswick said that they could get electricity, but only if they moved the house a mile from its current location.

So, he did. Things then started to pick up for my grandfather. He started to work for CN and could afford to send my mother to a business college. In true, Acadian French spirit, my mother excelled. She became the first French person to work at Eaton's in the accounting department.

This was a monumental achievement at the time. Today, in New Brunswick, you pretty much have to be bilingual to get a good job, but back then the English dominated the business and government world.

For a French person to be hired, they had to be top of their class. And my mother, as I understand it, was top of her class.

Before she started working at Eaton's, however, she went into Moncton to visit her cousin, and they went to a dance. The “Bunk House Boys” were playing. My dad must have been starstruck by her. Despite being a relatively shy young man around women, he got up the courage to ask my mother to dance. The song was “The Tennessee Waltz”.

A love was born.

My dad feared that once she went to work at Eaton's, that she would soon meet other men and that would be the end of it.

To make matters worse, my father was shipped overseas by the military for two years and their only means of communication was by mail.

Their love for each other endured this absence, however, and my father and mother were married two years later when he returned to Canada.

Dad also shared something with me last week that I never knew. My grandparents always had boarders to help pay the bills.

One of these boarders was a musician and taught my mother how to play the guitar and harmonica – at the same time – just like Bob Dylan does. I would have loved to have seen that.

I love to remember my mother when she was full of life, and taking risks. In the 60’s, of course, one of those risks was wearing a mini-dress.

I remember my mother getting the McCall’s pattern, and putting together that dress. She looked great. While I wouldn’t have wished the 60’s on any parent, my mom and dad made it through safely. It was around this time, that I remember hearing rock and roll records playing downstairs.

It was around this time that I remember my mother and father starting to go out regularly.

While they didn’t have a great deal of money, they seemed to have this intuitive sense that they needed to work at keeping their love alive, even while they had three kids. As a child, it was great for me to see my parents dating.

Like many mothers, my mother took special pride in giving us kids all she could at Christmas time. One of the things that I thought was unique to the Lannigan household, was our Christmas stockings.

While other kids may have had those wimpy stockings, maybe this high, or even this high, my mother would hang her nylon stockings for us. As a kid, I thought this was great. When I woke up Christmas morning, Santa Claus had filled it to the brim with goodies. Far more than any other kid got.

Another time my mother made herself stick out from the crowd was at one of Gerry’s hockey games. The most popular coach in Moncton, at the time, was Father Mike.

It seemed that some God-given divinity that allowed him to develop a winning team most every year. One year, when Gerry played for Father Mikes team, the final game was tied and went into overtime. There was a slapshot from the point and Gerry tipped it in for the winning goal. The crowd cheered.

The players all ganged up on top of Gerry in celebration. But wait. Who was this 98lb woman jumping over the boards to land on the pile. It was my mother!

…Dad, I can’t know what it’s like to lose someone you love that much. These days, however, all I know is that I feel she is watching over me.

When I’m at work and there is some V.P. trying to lure me into something I don’t believe in, I hear Mom telling me to be true to my own character and values. And thus, my mother will live on within me, and through me, for the rest of my life.

Eulogy 1

I’d like to leave you all with this quote, by Helen Keller. She said, “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart”

IF, by the end of her life, my mother ended up touching all of your hearts ----then I ask you, what else can anyone ask for in this world, but to touch people’s hearts. Thank you, Mom.

That was a great piece! Now, let’s review what went into writing it.

      Beautiful eulogy for mother

First off, let’s recap the intro:

''Thank you all -- for coming to commemorate my mother’s life…''

How To Get The Audience To Love Your Words

This is by far one of the best ways to start a eulogy on a very positive note; I feel the writer should have mentioned his name.

By the way, the introduction like the rest of a eulogy for mom is very crucial to grabbing the attention of the audience from the very beginning. So, you need to spend a great deal of time and effort into crafting one.

Sadly, however, most sons and daughters don’t really know how to write something that captivates the attention of the audience from the onset.

Let me use this opportunity to share with you proven ways of doing just that.

Ready? Let’s jump right in.

· You can start with a poem about mothers

· You can begin with a question…

For example…How would you feel if someone you truly love and cherish suddenly dies? This past Tuesday my mom, the love of my life passed away….

Now, wait a minute…Don’t you think everyone would be moved by that question?

· You can relate a quote about mothers and use one or two to personalize your intro

Here are some quotes:

''All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother.''- Abraham Lincoln

''Mama was my greatest teacher, a teacher of compassion, love, and fearlessness. If love is sweet as a flower, then my mother is that sweet flower of love.''-Stevie Wonder

''No man succeeds without a good woman behind him. Wife or mother, if it is both, he is twice blessed indeed''- Godfrey Winn

Can you use any of these quotes to engage your listeners?

How so?  Ok, let me illustrate with Steve Wonder’s quote: ''…If love is sweet as a flower, then my mother is that sweet flower of love.''

My mom was a sweet flower of love and it comes as no surprise that her costly fragrance of love has drawn amazing people like you from far and near to celebrate the legacy of this rare gem….

Did you notice how I did just that?  Yes, you can too.

Now, let’s go over to the body. Again, here are excerpts: My mother was born to Albanie and Velma Bourque in a small French community…

This is What Your Family and Friends Want You To Talk About

The body of your eulogy speech for mom is usually the narration of your mom’s life.

To make things fairly easy, you can simply do a narration of your mom’s life as our example depicts.  But that approach is not engaging enough except your stories are very memorable.

To make your presentation stand out, you can single out the most admirable quality about your mom and support it with stories.

Alternatively, you can share how he made a difference in your life.

Now, I want you to create a rough outline for your loving mom as that will be the basis for your write-up.

So, please go grab your pen and paper and answer the following questions:

· How did she play her role as a mom?

· What are the lessons she taught you?

· How those did lessons impact your life or helped make you a much better person?

· Can you recount memories that are hilarious?

· Any anecdote that will inspire the listeners?

Using answers to those questions, please write a very rough of your speech.

Don’t worry about how messy it looks like on paper because you can always go back to review your speech until you’re happy with it.

How To Close Your Speech On A Memorable Note

Finally, let’s look at how to write the ending of a moving tribute that will praise, bless and honor your mom.

Once the body of the eulogy has been drafted, it needs a conclusion to provide a sense of closure and emotional release.

Believe it or not, the closing remark of your delivery is as important as the intro because those last lines will stay with your sympathizers for a very long time.

Winging it won’t do you any good. If you are wondering about how best to close on a memorable note, then these tips can help you out.

1.        You can thank your family, siblings, and friends and loved ones for their love, kindness, message, and support.

2.        Sometimes, you don’t have to say anything but let the tears flow because it will bring complete healing and refreshment.

3.       You can encourage people to emulate your mom’s great attributes.

4.      If you’re Christian or a very religious person, you can end with a prayer and a few words of encouragement.

For example, you can say…My mom is no longer with us but I look forward to that beautiful morning when I will be reunited with her in heaven. God bless her so much.

P.S This is how to give the best eulogy ever for your mom...have you ever considered it? Most sons and daughters use this and you should too!

Granted, writing a unique, memorable, and inspiring eulogy for your mom is not an easy thing at all at this painful time even if you’re a very gifted writer.

I want to take his very heavy burden off your shoulder by helping you come up with a funny, inspiring, and memorable eulogy that truly captures your mom’s life.
