How To Get The Right Words And Ideas To Help You Write A Perfect Wedding Anniversary Speech For Your Wife On That Special Day!

This Makes Life Beautiful

I know it is every man’s dream to find a loving, forgiving and god-fearing wife right?

The journey of marriage certainly becomes very beautiful when you find the one who is very committed to goals you want to achieve as well as interests you want to pursue.

And so, when you find someone loving like your wife, and you have been together all these years, you really have to tell everyone how you deeply feel about her, and how your friendship has been like ever since you got married.

Can You Face Them Confidently?

The situation gets quite intimidating when you have to face such a huge crowd. Not only do you get nervous, but you worry whether what you have say will be well-received by the guests.

I know that this happens a lot because countless wedding speakers do write to me, and I understand how they feel when they have to pay glowing tribute to their wives on the big day.

That’s why I am right here this afternoon to help you get the right words and ideas so you can make her proud no matter how you feel.

Please bear in mind that what I am going to share will help you even if you are giving your 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5,th, 6th,…..10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, 30th, 35th, 50th, 60th,… wedding anniversary speeches.

You Have To Tell Stories

First, you have to put lots of funny anecdotes that come to you. You just have to sit and reflect on funny incidents that have happened in your marriage and what brought about those events.

You could also walk down memory lane and try to recollect funny remarks and the like and see how best you can use them to put down your exact thoughts and emotions into very beautiful words.

Words and comments your own children or even grandchildren have said could be the backbone for your speech.

Use Jokes

Many husbands underestimate the power of jokes in helping them write funny wedding anniversary speeches for their wives. Such people they have to be naturally funny to come up with something entertaining.

But, that perception is simply wrong.
If you know how to use jokes to write your speech, it will make your message very memorable. Wondering how to do just that?

Here Are Some Marriage Jokes

''When a married man says "I'll think about it", What he really means is that he doesn't know his wife's opinion yet''—Anonymous

''On their 50th wedding anniversary,
a couple summed up the reason for their long and happy marriage.
The husband said, "I have tried never to be selfish.

After all, there is no 'I' in the word marriage."

The wife said,

"For my part, I have never corrected my husband's spelling." Submitted by: Nelson

By all means, marry. If you get a good wife, you'll become happy; if you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher –Socrates

My wife and I were happy for twenty years. Then we met - Rodney Dangerfield

The best way to get most husbands to do something is to suggest that perhaps they're too old to do it - Ann Bancroft

Now, let us combine the following quotes and see if we can come up with a short speech with them

''By all means, marry. If you get a good wife, you'll become happy; if you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher''Socrates

And

''My wife and I were happy for twenty years. Then we met'' - Rodney Dangerfield

Here we go now:

You see, before we got married, I read this quote by Socrates that said if you get a good wife, you'll become happy; if you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

Well, the first few years were very hard as we gradually got to know each other very well.

I would get up in the middle of the night, sit at the edge of the bed and look at Mary fast asleep and wonder what trouble I had gotten myself into.

I will ponder about what went on that day and analyze my actions and that of my wife like a crazy philosopher….Little did I realize that I was losing sleep over nothing.

The years have come and gone…it’s been 20 years now… and I realize that I am such a wise philosopher knowing that I married such a great wife…

Hope you get what I mean? You too can do same to give your speech that unique touch.

How do you find such jokes? Just look them up in the search engines.

By the way, I have a few jokes for you because I want you to do so well. A popular saying might even help you to form great ideas to help you say what you want to say.

Watch Marriage Or Wedding Anniversary Videos

I know you might not have the time to watch one from the start to the end. But, things will get better if you can.

As you do that, put down ideas and phrases the screen stars have said that you think will be very beneficial in helping you string your thoughts together.

There are many romantic lines from such movies or wedding movies in general.

Oh, I forgot to tell you that you can watch brief anniversary clips (like 3-5) minutes on the search engines and you will by all means have great ideas just popping out at you. Never ever throw away any idea that hit your brain because you can never which ones will help you in the long run.

Marriage Quotes

They do work a lot. The trick here is not to use verbatim what you find. You can paraphrase them or you can try to use them creatively.

I once wrote a speech for this man who thought his son was like a precious metal.

Well, I was done with his speech, and I asked him to look it over, and to my surprise he made a few changes and he added that his son was a 24-carat gem! Funny right?

That’s exactly how to get things working for you if you are going to make someone’s quote your own. If you can put it in your own words, then you have to acknowledge the author.

Here are a few quotes you can use. Please don’t use it word for word. But any quote you go for should be modeled after the example I gave above

''A good marriage would be between a blind wife and a deaf husband''- Michel de Montaigne

''My most brilliant achievement was my ability to be able to persuade my wife to marry me''- Winston Churchill

''Happy is the man who finds a true friend, and far happier is he who finds that true friend in his wife''- Franz Schubert

''The real act of marriage takes place in the heart, not in the ballroom or church or synagogue. It's a choice you make - not just on your wedding day, but over and over again - and that choice is reflected in the way you treat your husband or wife''-Barbara De Angelis

''I have learned that only two things are necessary to keep one's wife happy. First, let her think she's having her own way. And second, let her have it''-Lyndon B. Johnson

''A woman is like a tea bag; you never know how strong it is until it's in hot water''---Eleanor Roosevelt

Similes and Metaphors

I think you understand how many times we use metaphors and similes before we go to bed. It stands to reason that you have to use lots of them to say something about your beautiful wife on that beautiful day.

Never ever forget that! They have power to change ordinary sentences into something hilarious. Do you remember the story I told you editing his speech to say that his son is like a 24-carat gem?

Go For What You Threw Away

Do you really what you said when you gave your groom wedding speech sometime ago? You could use some of the phrases and ideas you used then to start your own speech.

For example, if you told your wife in that speech that you are going to be there for him.

Then your wedding anniversary speech to your wife can begin from there. Ok ok. Let me make things clear by taking this portion from someone’s speech so you can get what I want to put across.

Let us as an example say this was a part of that speech right?

''I promise to hold you tenderly. Love you like my own soul and be there for you even when our world is in a mess.''

Okay, let us use what’s right up there to write our example

'' My mind goes back to that day when we got married. I remember looking into that blue eyes and telling you that I was going to be there for you in hard times and good times.

Well, we have experienced both good times and bad times, and I love Marilyn more today than I loved her yesterday.

Marilyn, I will love you more tomorrow than I love you today. I still promise to be there for you so we can be like a city built on a rock''

I hope you get the picture and that you too can come up with something similar, if not better. I believe in you and I know you can.
